Help me decide what rims to put on my 180!

Recommended Posts

Hey guys first time on here, i have a 180sx i bought a few months back, today my back tyre went out, completely fried it. I was contemplating on changinf my rims anyway and wanted to get some tips and opinions on what would look real nice on my car. Dont go overboard with some pricey ones but id really appreciate some help with this. I currently have 20'inch ones on there from previous owner. Was never a fan of the rim. Thanks guys! P.s I dont have the best photos of the rims at this moment will upload more tomorrow.

oh yeah being a 4 stud is a major downer

Theres heaps of nice, brand new and used 4 stud wheels on the market these days, especially period correct stuff in 15/16".

I switched to 5 stud and now sorta want to switch back to 4 to get them sweet 90s wheels.

Wheels and brake clearances are very limited in 4stud.

If you play on upgrading brakes in the future... Go 5stud.

Not sure whether you looking for huge wheels with massive dish, but I'll spruik my stuff anyway, as it's 4 stud and I think they look decent:

Complete set of 4 stud Buddy Club P1s 17x8, +20 offset iirc. With 235/45s they sat nicely on stock front guards, so with your widebody you would need bolt on spacers to fill the gap.

Some old pics from when my car didn't look like a total piece of shit, running P1s on just the rear due to 5 stud on the front:

4 stud is for gay Honda owners

But I have a classic 1970's car that is 4 stud and definitely not gay. And it's not a jap car.
