Another GKTECH developed product - clutch fans that work, ETA late 2012 and cost of $79-$99 (TBC)

Recommended Posts

We recently posted a screen shot of a clutch fan on our facebook page (seen here: http://www.facebook.com/gktech). Unfortunately, the previous clutch fan design was a bit of a trick, it was a 3D drawing that we had taken of the GP Sports 10 blade fan (retail of around $220). We didn't want to push forward with development of a fan if there wasn't enough interest as development costs are quite high, even something that looks as basic as this cost near 5k in engineers fees and then another 12-15k in tooling costs to get them into production. With 187 likes on the image that we posted, we decided to push forward and here is what we've got; a fan that is capable of pulling around 30% more air than the GP sports unit whilst using significantly less engine power than the GP sports unit (exact numbers to come). Expected late 2012 and expected retail of around $79-$99.

NOTE: GP Sports on the left, GKTECH version on the right

If you're not aware of the cool things that we're developing right now, check them out on our facebook page. We update it frequently and that's the first place you'll hear about any new designs.

Another perfect example is our modular billet 7075-T6 front knuckles which are expected to be released in October for $599/pair (TBC).

More images of the knuckles can be seen here: http://www.facebook....83379304&type=3

Might be a stupid question but knuckles for track use only?

Also does your fan clear factory shroud

You can use them how you like. They are engineered in Australia and FEA tested however they are not street legal.

The fan is designed for use with the factory fan shroud
