Help! E85 S15, is it worth it. can i make more power with my current setup?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone used an e85 test kit?

Would like to hear from anyone who experience with these.

Cheers

yep use it all the time, very accurate (same reading as what i get on my racepak dash thru the flex fuel sensor)

Do you mind telling me where you got it from?

All I can find is ones for sale from the USA.

Q: What is the most stealthy E85 setup?

So far: 1200cc side feed injectors / DW or Five O are tits - cheap & proven

Low mount 3071r with what exhaust? t28 or t3? / Hypergear off tits with their support, I use them and will be getting a few other mates on them as well

ECU:? / Nistune, Haltech, Adaptronic (I've tuned all 3, Nistune & Haltech have SEXY software, Adaptronic is primative but solid - once you know what you're doing)

Which intank fuel pump? / Just go Walbro 450L E85 pump OR DW300 (less current draw)

Thanks for your reply.

Can a Nistune still be setup with dual maps in a stealthy way?

Would my intank Bosch 040 fuel pump need replacing?

And the dude discovered a bunch of new maps for some Nissan models apparently. Finally got my dodgy idle on cold fixed up on the Type X!

My old stealth setup:

Five-O 1000cc side feeds (spewing I went these, shoulda gone 1200)

Kinugawa TD05 20g internal gated on the stock mani

Walbro 400

Tomei Poncams

tuned with Nistune

+ the usual mods

= 280kw @ 19psi

Looking at getting a tune on e85, how much pwr is a Bosch 040 pump good for? Wanting to make 280wkw. Also what brand of injectors are best for side Feds?

My 1200cc side feeds turned up a few days ago. Got them from five-o motorsport in the US. There is some testimonial on the skylines australia forum, have a look there. Mines going in for an e-85 conversion on the 25th. I'll let ya know how I go

That's what I'm looking at too, mixed reviews on re drills but they seem to be the best of the bunch. Let me know how you go cause I'll look at ordering before the end of the month

Installed a set of 1000cc Five-O injectors into a S15 idles perfectly and gives decent economy.

Still stuffing about with the cranking table to get it to start properly (Nistune ECU - loads of fun)

Will update soon, will be working on it this afternoon
